Our
mission is
to address the issues and concerns of the LGBT community
on the East End of Long Island. Through education,
public policy advocacy, communications, health, cultural
and charitable outreach programs, the EEGO Foundation
promotes the equal rights of this
community and is further committed to the dignity of all
individuals.

GAY PRIDE WEEKEND
Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, 2009
A ground - breaking, celebratory two-day event sponsored
by
The Jewish Center of the Hamptons in partnership with EEGO.
On Saturday evening, 5:30 – 8PM,
Rabbi Steven Greenberg,
(an openly gay orthodox rabbi) will speak on “God
and Gays.”
This will be followed by a cocktail reception. On Sunday
morning, 9:30 to 11:00 AM, an intergenerational panel discussion
on the challenges of raising children within a gay and lesbian
family. Refreshments to follow.
The Jewish Center of the Hamptons is located
at 44 Woods Lane in East Hampton. There is no charge for
these events. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
